Whitehill Village Hall is managed by a team of local voluntary trustees and supported by members of local organisations using the hall.

Facilities

Whitehill Village Hall is situated at the heart of Whitehill. The hall has multiple spaces that can be utilised by the community; their main hall, cafe/kitchen and a meeting room. The hall has accessible entrances, toilets and a hearing loop.

Capacity

Their multipurpose community centre has a capacity of 120 people and plays host to a large number of events throughout the year, including our Chairobics.

History

The first village hall was an ex-army hut transported to the site in 1919, which was demolished in the 1940s. The second hall was a pre-fabricated building which was installed in 1975, but due to a number of structural weaknesses, it was demolished in 1987. The current hall was built in 1987 and officially opened in 1988.
