D-Day 80: The Longest Day

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, the Phoenix Theatre & Arts Centre is hosting a series of events to commemorate the sacrifices of those who fought for our freedom all those years ago.

On Thursday 6th June, we'll be hosting an afternoon screening of the classic film, The Longest Day. Entry will be free, with donations going to the charity for bereaved military children, Scotty's Little Soldiers.

Featuring a star-studded cast, including John Wayne and Henry Fonda, The Longest Day charts the story of the D-Day landings and their importance in winning the war.
