The Cube's Comedy Club @ The Shed
We’re back!
And kicking off the Autumn season for our very own stand-up comedy club are these merry funsters; Aaron Twitchen, Samantha Day and headliner Andrew O’Neill!
Do note line-up is subject to change
Aaron Twitchen
Aaron Twitchen is a stand up, actor, presenter and living stereotype.
'Seriously talented. Hilarious, warm, energetic and capable of busting some awesome moves, Twitchen is a Quadruple Threat, the kind of new act that should have talent scouts excited and other comedians feeling nervous.' - The Skinny
'Positive, fun, feel-good' - SGFringe
'Twitchen wonderful, brilliant fun and you’ll definitely leave with a smile' - ThreeWeeks
Andrew O'Neill
Andrew O'Neill is an award-winning stand-up comedian, musician and best-selling writer. A psychedelic whirlwind, they combine surrealism, polemic and good old-fashioned stagecraft to produce uniquely counter-cultural stand-up. Their distinctive voice and alternative credentials have set them apart and allowed them to carve out a unique place in the comedy world.
Andrew has performed in over a dozen different countries, at over a hundred different festivals and is equally at home in rowdy comedy clubs as performing to their own cult following.
'One of the funniest comedians on the circuit at the moment... hitting new heights of comedic brilliance' - Timeout
'... talented, intelligent and unique. Bringing the spirit of the alternative '80s back into the comedy circuit' - Dazed & Confused
'artistic and unique, their innate confidence and fondness of absurdity leaves their audiences feeling full of glee' - Funhouse Comedy
Samantha Day
Samantha has six children. Three of them are stepchildren, which means that they have been brought up properly, by someone else, and are therefore nice. But her three are a lot better at shoplifting.
She is 53, but looks younger because she's had a lot of work done. Some people have said that that makes her a bad feminist. They don't know the half of it.
She is an alcoholic and hasn’t had a drink for 17 years. And that's ok - she doesn't need to drink in order to socialise or dance. Happily, she doesn’t even need to drink to wet herself.
For nearly thirty years, Samantha was an accountant. She gave it up when, despite her best efforts, she only managed to sleep her way to the middle.
'The real deal, a fresh voice tempered by a life full of square peg experience' - Nick Page, English Comedian of the Year
'Always has our audiences in stitches, spouting words of wisdom and self-improvement - whether wanted or not!' - Flock Comedy Club
